Carter Windoft, O.D.

Dr. Carter Jonathan Windoft, OD, joined our practice in 2021 as an optometric technician and brings extensive experience in comprehensive and pediatric eye care. Raised in Lakewood, NY, he graduated from Southwestern High School before earning his A.S. in biotechnology from SUNY Jamestown Community College and a B.S. in molecular genetics with a minor in chemistry from SUNY Fredonia. Dr. Windoft received his Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University, where he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa (BSK) optometric honor society.

His training includes externships at the Chalmers P Wylie Veterans Outpatient Clinic, OSU Upper Arlington Private Practice, and clinics at The Ohio State University. Committed to personalized care, he treats every patient like family, prioritizing attentive listening to individual needs. Outside the office, Dr. Windoft enjoys skiing, running, playing piano, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
